While parental engagement can play a crucial role in supporting these students’ academic achievements, multilingual families might face challenges due to linguistic mismatches and systemic barriers. Building on this, this contribution explores the role of language in multilingual parents' identity construction as they attempt to engage with their children’s learning in the context of the Austrian education system.
