<lom:langstring xml:lang="de">Die fachdidaktische Literatur setzt sich eingehend mit den zahlreichen Paradoxa der schulischen Wahrscheinlichkeitsrechnung auseinander und misst der Beforschung trügerischer Intuitionen, Heuristiken und Fehlvorstellungen hohe Bedeutung bei. Dennoch hegen viele Lehrkräfte trotz akademischer Ausbildung derart problematische Konzepte. Der Artikel präsentiert eine qualitative Fallstudie mit vier angehenden Mathematiklehrer:innen der Sekundarstufe (diagnostischer Test, Think-Aloud-Interviews) zur Analyse stochastischer Denkmuster und 
diskutiert diese auf empirischer sowie theoretischer Basis. Die Studie legt nahe, dass isoliertes formales Wissen nicht vor Trugschlüssen schützt, wenn dieses unzureichend vernetzt ist und daher in konkreten Problemsituationen von intuitiven Vorstellungen überlagert wird.</lom:langstring>
